Intranet Moderator & Enablement Specialist

    Your Opportunity

    We are looking for an Intranet Moderator & Enablement Specialist to support New Relic's Intranet strategy and governance, while working with department representatives, content curators and users across the company. Consult with the business on their Intranet needs and establish relationships to strengthen communication. Enable all who use the Intranet to feel informed and able to complete their business and communication needs effectively. Ensure policies and processes are known and implemented throughout day-to-day actions of all Intranet users. Reporting to the Corporate Intranet Manager, you will partner to operationalize the overall Intranet strategy.

    In addition to our Portland office, the opportunity to work from a remote office may be available depending on applicant location. We are open to remote candidates who can accommodate West Coast hours from a home office and who have >1 year of success working remotely with a distributed team.

    What You’ll Do

    • Be a knowledgeable policy resource to educate while driving engagement. Complete annual content and process audits to ensure alignment with Governance.
    • Build and maintain two-way dialogue with departments/users and your team. Hone the voice of the users and provide feedback to your team, reducing friction and growing adoption for internal teams. Get users engaged and empowered!
    • Perform site maintenance through content and landing page audits.
    • Provide user support including virtual and in-person training, site design consultation, and completing Intranet Support tickets.
    • Collaborate with greater IT to promote excellent customer support service and seek resolution when issues arise.
    • Find opportunities to make process improvements, partnering with your team on implementations.

    Your Qualifications


    • 1-2 years of experience working in community strategy;
    • Thoroughly familiar with intranet culture, analytics and content management;
    • Experienced consulting with business partners on requirements and making recommendations;
    • Validated understanding and awareness of customer support principles;
    • Superb interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills, with the ability to adjust tone and voice based on your audience;
    • Strong change management knowledge and skills;
    • Ability to work multi-functionally and independently within a fast-paced, always-changing environment;
    • Operational-level knowledge of online community platform tools such as website design, blogs, commenting, etc.
    • BA/BS degree.
    • Familiarity with web technologies: CMS systems, troubleshooting tools, issue tracking, web development platforms, etc;
    • Experience with web design programs (Wix, Wordpress, etc.)
    • Demonstrable experience with the technical community;
    • Experience with G-Suite integration;
    • Background in taxonomy practices;
    • Ability to analyze metrics and allow data to inform decisions.
